2013 is the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. At the 100th anniversary, in 1963, Dr. King proposed that JFK issue “a second Emancipation Proclamation” abolishing segregation nationwide. What kind of Emancipation Proclamation do we need today? What action would we propose for our current President on this historic anniversary?

Special Guest: Charles Ogletree, Professor – Harvard Law School, Director – Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice. Keith Motley, Chancellor – University of Massachusetts, Boston.
