Maura is dying. Her daughter Cindy is baking, and Cindy’s daughter Darcy is trying to connect to her dead Marine father through a video game. All of their worlds are falling apart, but they’re all trying to keep the plates spinning, at least they think they are. In reality, their lives are being run by Facebook, the Food Network and a video game called Desert of Destruction. Will they eventually be able to distinguish what’s real and begin to heal?
