Julie-Anne Whitney
Julie-Anne Whitney she/her (Dramaturg) is a dramaturg, writer, and theater reviewer. Previous Central Square Theater credits include The Half-Life of Marie Curie. Other dramaturgy credits include: The Book of Will (Advice to the Players, Hub Theatre of Boston), What We Know (Company One Theatre Volt Lab), Into the Breeches! (Hub Theatre of Boston), and Machinal (BoCo at Berklee), among others. Julie-Anne’s 10-minute plays have been performed at the Boston Theater Marathon, SUNY Plattsburgh Climate Play Festival, Lake Creek 10-minute Play Festival, and at Lesley University. She is the Editor of The Theater Mirror, one of the country’s oldest theater review websites. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and a BA in Theatre Arts.
