Rebecca Gibel*
Rebecca Gibel* (Katherine) Ms. Gibel is a Resident Actor at Trinity Rep, where notable roles include Desdemona in Othello, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Lizzie Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, and Sheila in The Prince of Providence. She is best known for playing Joanne Biles in the Best Picture Oscar winner CODA (SAG Award, Outstanding Ensemble), and for her television work as Kitty Farrell opposite Ed Burns on MGM+‘s Bridge and Tunnel and as Tina Harrison on AMC’s NOS4A2. Additional film and television credits include Finestkind (opposite Jenna Ortega), Don’t Look Up, Salem’s Lot, The Plot Against America, Spenser Confidential (with Mark Wahlberg), Defending Jacob, Castle Rock, and Law & Order: SVU. On stage, Rebecca has worked with Tony Award-winning companies such as the Huntington Theatre Company (Leopoldstadt, Merrily We Roll Along), Cleveland Play House (Yentl), Actors Theatre of Louisville (Noises Off), and Shakespeare Theatre Company. She has premiered work by such luminaries as Sarah Ruhl, Jackie Sibblies Drury, Ro Reddick, George Brant, and Will Power, and collaborated with visionary directors including Whitney White, Liesl Tommy, Maria Friedman, and Richard Jenkins.
