Title: Front of House Ambassador
Schedule: Part-time, Seasonal
Reports to: Patron and Assistant Patron Services Managers

The Front of House Staff at Central Square Theater is the Front Line of our Customer Service experience, providing assistance to our patrons during performances. You will be trained to perform rolls either inside the house during walk-in, showing folx to their seats, or in the courtyard checking vaccination requirements prior to show.

Additional duties for either role will be assisting the house manager in the insurance of the ready and cleanliness of our courtyard, lobby, and theater, as well as being a presence in the theater during the show. 

Qualifications 

Applicants must be willing to learn great customer service skills, the ability to maintain calm under pressure, and possess an appreciation for theatre.  TIPS or SERVE SAFE certification is required, and will be provided if not possessed.  Bystander Intervention and Harassment training will be provided.  

This is a part time position.  While flexibility is a guarantee, night and weekend availability is a necessity. All candidates are expected to attend our Front of House meetings and dress rehearsals that take place the Wednesday before an opening and supply a minimum of two-three shifts per week of availability.  We do also have the occasional student matinee, so please mention if you have weekday morning availability, specifically Tuesday-Thursday.

Hourly Rate: $14

CST works closely with MIT on Catalyst Collaborative@MIT, one of the only nationwide partnerships between a world class research institute and a theater.
