Meet the team

Ben Morris

Ben Morris is a scientist, dramaturg, and performer, interested in questions of how we talk about science.  Before working at Central Square Theater for this season, in 2013, he co-created an original science-theater piece, titled The Edge of the Map that premiered at Harvard.  A collaboration between Harvard scientists and New York based company Sightline, the piece dealt with issues raised by modern genetics.  In addition to his scientific interests, Ben is also a comic baritone, specializing in Gilbert and Sullivan patter roles.  He most recently sang in Lowell House Opera’s production of Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades. He holds a M.A. in Biomedical Sciences from Harvard Medical School and a B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard College.
