Ilyse Robbins Most recent work includes directing/choreographing Working (Lyric Stage Company of Boston), directing Miracle on 34th Street (Stoneham Theatre), and choreographing A Christmas Carol (Hanover Theatre). Ms. Robbins has directed, choreographed, and/or performed at numerous theaters including Stoneham Theatre, Lyric Stage Co. of Boston, New Repertory Theatre, Fiddlehead Theatre, Overture Productions, Jewish Theater of New England, American Stage Festival, Boston Theatre Works, Wheelock Family Theatre, Museum of Science, Publick Theatre, Boston Women on Top Festival, Liberty Mutual, and Fidelity. She has received four IRNE awards for Best Choreography at a Midsize Theater. Ilyse holds a BS in communication/theater from Northwestern University, certification in theater from the British American Drama Academy and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. Ilyse teaches critical thinking, oral speaking, and dance history at Wheelock College and creative drama education for Brandeis University. Ilyse is also on the staff of Mohr Collaborative as a public speaking and presentation coach. Ilyse can currently be seen as Dessa in Tongue of a Bird at New Repertory Theatre. She is thrilled to work on this project with Scott, Todd, and most importantly, her daughter, Abigail.
