Steven Barkhimer
Steven Barkhimer has appeared in URT’s productions of Distracted; Yesterday Happened: Remembering H.M.; Alice’s Adventures Underground, the original Einstein’s Dreams; and The Life of Galileo, directed by the late David Wheeler. Last season also saw him at Central Square Theater as Voltaire in The Nora Theatre’s Emilie: La Marquise du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight. A member of the Resident Acting Company with the Actors Shakespeare Project, he appeared last season in Henry VI, Part 2 and Phèdre. This year’s other roles include Dysart in Equus (Off-the-Grid Theatre); Geppetto in Steven Bogart’s Kabuki-inspired Pinocchio (Wheelock Family Theatre); and himself in Kate Snodgrass’ Bark’s Dream. Author of the play Windowmen (Elliot Norton, IRNE, and Kennedy Center Awards) and composer/lyricist for upcoming Lobstergirl at Stoneham Theatre this spring.
