Job Title: Box Office Associate (p/t)
Reports to: Ellie Watson, Guest Experience Manager
Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Description: Central Square Theater (CST), seeks an experienced Box Office associate to contribute to CST’s exceptional Guest Experience department through the selling and booking of season and single tickets, upkeep of our email and box office systems, and support of our Guest Experience management.
Schedule: 15-20 hours a week, some weekend hours. Mondays are always off.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include:
- Assist in the selling and booking of tickets for our single ticket holders and season ticket holders using AudienceView – OvationTix.
- Assist in the timely answering of questions or troubleshooting problems for theater goers through our phone, voicemail and email system (Nextiva and Groove respectively).
- Forward emails and voicemails to relevant staff members
- Collect and sort physical mail, following necessary procedures for development, and accounts payable.
- When working shows, fill out and submit box office reports.
- Ensure evening box office associates have any needed information relayed to them via notes in groove, or email.
- Fill out, and update guests’ accounts and contact information. Maintaining relationships and merging of accounts.
- Assist with various box office related projects as they arise throughout the season.
- Examples include:
- Calling unrenewed season ticket holders
- Getting our guests their Circle of Friends cards and access
- Examples include:
- Attend weekly Program Meetings and FOH meetings throughout the season.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience in patron-facing roles, preferably in a box office, arts, or entertainment environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone, email, and in person.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially when executing transactions, updating patron data, or preparing reports.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Experience handling/reconciling cash.
- Basic computer knowledge as well as technical proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- A welcoming and respectful approach to engaging with a diverse range of patrons and colleagues.
