Join us this Thursday, Nov. 16 for a post-show conversation with Adelia Da Silva (she/they), Youth Leadership Committee Co-Chair at BAGLY through the BAGLY Speakers Bureau, the largest and longest running LGBTQ+ speakers bureau in the country, about the experiences of and the issues facing LGBTQ+ youth in their schools and communities.

Adelia Da Silva
Adelia Da Silva – (Ah-dal-ee-uh Duh Sil-Vuh), is a Krioula-American, raised on the south shore of Massachusetts in Brockton. Post High school they went to a career development program in Boston, Year Up, to study project management. They are now a four-year student, at UMass Boston, working towards a bachelor’s in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a Minor in Political Science and Public Policy. Besides being a full-time college student during school break and part-time during the semester Adelia works on a food truck, Moyzilla. They’re hopeful to continue to learn about collectivism, the African diaspora, mass media, queer theory, and harm reduction.
