Kiara Escalera, she/her/hers (Costume Designer) is excited to return back to Central Square Theatre! Overseeing visual and fashion merchandising for companies such as Aldo, Express and Target; Kiara expanded her expertise by providing her creative services to theatrical and film productions. She will be going into her sixth year of being a Fashion Stylist as well as a Costume Designer. Favorite previous works include: Thug Costume Production Assistant (Boat Yard Productions); America’s Test Kitchen: Next Generation Stylist Assistant (Amazon Prime); Blue Man Group Wardrobe Supervisor (Cirque du Soleil); Chicken and Biscuits Head of Wardrobe, Hair and Makeup (Front Porch Arts Collective); Alma Costume Designer (Central Square Theatre); Damnation of Faust Costume Designer (Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra).

Erik D. Diaz+, he/him/El (Scenic Designer) is thrilled to be back working on this incredible production of Next to Normal with Pascale and the team at Central Square and Front Porch having previously designed Alma (Central Square) and Chicken & Biscuits (Front
Porch). He has had the pleasure of working at theatres across New England and his work has been seen nationally at Skylight Music Theatre, Kingsman Shakespeare, Omaha Playhouse, The Sharon Playhouse, Connecticut Rep, Playhouse on the Square, Penobscot Theatre, and Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. Regional credits: Evita (Skylight), Doubt (OSTC), Heisenberg (TheatreWorks), Mary Poppins (CSFAC), All Is Calm (GBSC), Fairview (SpeakEasy), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (New London Barn Playhouse), and most recently Lizzie! Originally from the DC area, Ken moved to Boston to attend drama school where he started his own business at 18 years old.
