What are you going to be doing about safety protocols?
Like everyone else, we want there to be a time when COVID-19 is firmly in the rear view window. As we have learned, time and time again, over the past 2+ years, we cannot speculate into the future. What we can do, however, is make sure that your safety at CST is paramount. We will continue to meet with a cohort of theaters in the Greater Boston area to evaluate the current situation and policies over the next many months. Central Square Theater is also part of a national theater cohort of the Audience Outlook Monitor, which is an international collaboration between top researchers, funders, arts service organizations, and cultural organizations who wish to make informed decisions on COVID-19 health and safety protocols through audience surveys. CST joined the study at the beginning in April 2020 and continues to participate. You can learn more about AudienceOutlookMonitor.com . We are making our decisions based on science and the health of our audience, artists, and staff is of the greatest importance.
Will performances be available for streaming digitally?
While we have been able to provide digital insurance for all season ticket holders for the first three productions of the 2021-22 Season, we cannot guarantee this will be available next season. Not all plays are allowed to be streamed and these answers will be forthcoming as we finalize our season. And, most of all, we want to be gathering together and hope you do, too.
