Anthony Pires, Jr.* (Dan) is excited to return to CST, having appeared last season in the 2023 Elliot Norton Award winning musical for Outstanding Musical Production Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Company) co-produced with Front Porch Arts Collective and GBSC. Anthony is a local Boston Actor and a 2-time Elliot Norton Award Winner. Caron Sujean Kim

Caron Sujean Kim (u/s Chloe Chen) (she/her) is a sophomore at Harvard University, studying Sociology and pursuing a potential secondary in Theater, Dance, and Media or Music. She is a first-generation Korean American who loves to sing, dance, act, and write. Some of her most recent work in theater include the role of Vera in Central Square Theater’s ongoing workshop of The East Side and the role of Margot in the Harvard Student Arts Project’s Legally Blonde (Fall 2021). She is also Publicity Chair and a choreographer for the Harvard Asian American Dance Troupe. She is overjoyed to be joining the Young Nerds of Color team and would particularly like to thank Lee Mikeska Gardner, Debra Wise, and Director Dawn Simmons for this opportunity, as well as her family and friends for their never-ending support.

Carla Mirabal Rodríguez (u/s Dr. Maria Hernandez) (she/her) is a Boston based actor, director, and producer originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and is thrilled to be working with Central Square Theater! She has worked with theatre companies such as Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Company One, Teatro Chelsea, and is the Artistic Assistant at The Huntington. Ricardo Engermann

Ricardo Engermann (u/s Jim Gates, DJ Thomas, Reinaldo Herrera & DC Lopez) (he/him) After a nine year hiatus, Mr. Engermann is excited to be afforded such an opportunity as to be a part of such a groundbreaking production as the subject matter of Astronomy is near and dear to his heart. He is the recipient of the 2013 Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Actor in a production for The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Diety as Macedonio Guerra. Other highlights include, Commonwealth Shakespeare Co.’s  Much Ado about Nothing as Borachio, the SpeakEasy Stage Co.’s productions Take Me Out as Davey Battle and Our Lady of 101st Street as Balthazar, Lyric Stage Co. of Boston in The Old Settler as Husband Witherspoon as well numerous productions at Wheelock Family Theatre such as Tock in The Phantom Tollbooth and Pippi Longstocking where his acrobatic performances delighted children for 15 years.
