David J. Curtis

David J. Curtis (Joe) is extremely excited to be working with Central Square Theatre in the production of When January Feels like Summer. David’s favorite stage credits include roles in To Hell with This Village!, Aida, Broke-ology, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, A More Perfect Union, Dark as A Thousand Midnights, Spunk, Ascension, Mama, I Want to Sing, The Sing Song Show, A Streetcar Named Desire, and 12 Angry Jurors. In addition to stage, David has also been a part of production in front of and behind the camera in many films/videos, commercials, voice-overs and educational videos. He is also an accomplished musician, performing in a variety of roles as a percussionist/drummer, producer, engineer and composer.

Marc Pierre (Jeron) is making his Central Square Theatre debut. Other Boston credits include Peter and the Starcatcher (Lyric Stage), Milk Like Sugar (Huntington Theatre Company), The Flick (Gloucester Stage), King Lear and Romeo and Juliet (Commonwealth Shakespeare), Great Expectations and Midsummer Night’s Dream (New Repertory Theatre), I Am a Camera (Wellfleet Harbor Actor’s Theatre), A Soldier’s Play (Roxbury Repertory), We Are Proud to Present a Presentation… (Company One/ArtsEmerson). New York credits include The Imaginary Life of Millo St. Jean (Snapdragon Theatre), Line (13th Street Repertory). Marc received his BFA in acting at Emerson College.

Alejandro Simoes (Walter) is making his Central Square Theater debut. Recent credits include Peter and the Starcatcher, Light up the Sky, and One Man Two Guvnors (Lyric Stage), The Motherf**ker with the Hat (SpeakEasy Stage Co., IRNE Best Supporting Actor), Our Country’s Good, Recent Tragic Events, and Aunt Dan and Lemon (Whistler in the Dark), Paperbag Princess, Shh! (New Exhibition Room), Travesties, Romeo & Juliet, and Misalliance (The Publick Theatre), Titus Andronicus (Actor’s Shakespeare Project), The Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth (Commonwealth Shakespeare Co.), King John (Shakespeare & Company), Olly’s Prison, and Dido, Queen of Carthage (A.R.T.), as well as productions with Stoneham Theatre, Theatre on Fire, Holland Productions, Zeitgeist Stage, and Imaginary Beasts. He trained at Shakespeare & Company, Southwick Studio, and Northeastern University.

Christopher Tarjan

Christopher Tarjan: Returns to The Nora Theatre after an absence of well over 20 years where he appeared as Geoffrey Thornton in The Dresser and as Homer in Mornings at Seven. He recently appeared in Come back little ShebaBecoming Cuba and Our Town at the Huntington Theater. Other regional credits include The Seafarer, The Government Inspector, The Nerd, A Month in the Country, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Front Page (Milwaukee Repertory Theater); Seminar (Stoneham Theatre); The Odd Couple, Bunkbed Brothers, and Merry Christmas My Ass (Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee); the one-man show Rush Limbaugh in Night School, The Mystery of Irma Vep, Red Herring, and the world premiere of Boswell’s Dreams (Next Act Theatre.) Recent film credits include American Hustle, Sea of Trees, The Sins of the Preacher, the Spirit of Christmas and The Makeover. He has played all four male roles and appeared in and/or directed Shear Madness in eleven cities across the country since 1991 and currently serves as the resident director of the Boston Production at The Charles Playhouse.

Sarah deLima

Sarah deLima (Marjorie) has appeared at the The Lyric Stage where she appeared in Grey Gardens, A . . . My Name Is Alice, Nuncrackers, Inspecting Carol, and Blithe Spirit. More recently she has appeared in Steel Magnolias, Lettice and Lovage, Shear Madness, and My Fair Lady (North Shore Music Theatre). A graduate of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Sarah—mother of four, grandmother of six, and wife of one—lives on the South Shore and is a proud U.S. citizen.
