Content/Social Media Internship


The content/social media intern will work with Central Square Theater’s marketing team to plan, create, and distribute engaging content to our audiences. This could include shooting and editing photos and videos, conducting interviews with artists and staff, writing articles, creating images, and more. Content will primarily be distributed via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and our  website (built on WordPress).


Excellent written communication skills and some experience in Adobe Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator are required. Experience with basic HTML/CSS, photography, and video editing is preferred.

Remote work is an option, but the Marketing Team does work four days a week in our offices in Central Square during daytime business hours. Some evening/weekend availability (sitting in on rehearsals and performances) is also required.

Examples of writing, design, or other relevant work is also helpful.
