Central Square Theater seeks an intern to assist the finance department with daily administration and special projects.
The intern will assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, financial report design and preparation, and researching operations and HR procedures in the nonprofit community. The intern will gain a familiarity with the preparation of budgets, program feasibility, and board reporting for a growing, vibrant nonprofit arts organization.
The internship is open to recent graduates and graduate students. A degree or experience in accounting is mandatory. Candidate should be able to work independently and problem solve. Experience in arts administration is preferred but not required. This internship requires a 12 hour per week commitment; the length is negotiable and may vary from three months through an academic year.
