Central Square Theater is a non-profit organization and the only official ticket provider for our performances. For select performances we will offer tickets below face value through BosTix, a discount ticket program of ArtsBoston.

You may purchase tickets online at CentralSquareTheater.org (the web address of our ticketing is hosted by OvationTix.com), by calling our box office at 617-576-9278 x1, or in-person at Central Square Theater, 450 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge’s Central Square. Please check our website for hours.

Don’t overpay or accidentally purchase a ticket from an unauthorized website. Some common indicators the website is an unauthorized ticket reseller are:

• Large service fees (more than $7.75 per ticket)
• Rows are listed without seat numbers or only a section is listed.
• The price on the ticket is different from what you paid.
• You are told the tickets will be sent by FedEx.
• All-in pricing (face value plus fees) is over $103 per ticket.

Central Square Theater is not responsible for unauthorized ticket purchases and we do not support the reselling of ticket at a price above the printed face value or all-in pricing that includes fees.

When you purchase tickets from an unauthorized ticket seller, the money does not ever make it to Central Square Theater. To support the organization and our artists, please use the methods mentioned above or BosTix.

If you weren’t allowed in the theater due to an unauthorized ticket purchase, report back to the seller and demand a refund. If you are unsuccessful, consider contacting your credit card company for a refund.

We encourage reporting of unauthorized ticket brokers or websites to the City of Cambridge Consumer Council via the Consumers’ Council Consumer Information and Public Assistance Hotline, call 617.349.6150.

The hotline is staffed Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5pm, and Friday from 8:30 am. to 12pm.

We also suggest contacting the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Attorney General at 617-727-8400.
